I worked on a PV recycling project a few years ago. As it's not confidential anymore, I can send you some materials.
Could you please send me an email to mylastname(cojocaru).myfirstname(alexandru) at gmail dot com.
Regards,
Alex

How are you ?
I start a new business in PV products in Brasil and, had not thought about recicle the old panels.

Best regards

Permalink Reply by Mark Postovit on June 6, 2012 at 22:38 There are plenty of rare earth metals in the old panels that can be separated chemically, but it is a process. Those heavy metals are worth some money, but the processing facilities and local regulations could offset your potential profits, and new panels are under factory warranty for thirty years with an estimated life of fifty, so you would be limited in supply once the used panel market was consumed.
